Firgus

Firgus redefines everyday climate control through design-forward appliances that feel equally at home in a gallery, living room, or shared space. More than just temperature-regulating devices, Firgus products are sculptural, minimal, and quietly striking. Our task was to craft a visual identity that aligned seamlessly with this design philosophy—bold yet refined, technical yet tactile. The result is a brand language that feels as considered and elegant as the products themselves.

We approached the Firgus brand with the same care and intention that goes into the product engineering itself. Working hand-in-hand with the Firgus development team, we ensured that every design element—from logo proportions to physical embossing—enhanced rather than overshadowed the product's understated beauty. The design had to live in harmony with the hardware, not compete with it.

Applied with precision - on the physical devices, the logo appears in a debossed relief—same material, same tone. This quiet branding gesture feels luxurious without being loud. It lets the form and function of the appliance remain the focal point, while still marking the object with Firgus’s unmistakable visual DNA.

The Firgus logo is rooted in Helvetica Neue, selected for its balance of neutrality and timelessness. We made subtle but deliberate adjustments to add uniqueness and visual rhythm. Most notably, we extended the crossbar of the lowercase "f" to meet the stem of the adjacent "i," cradling the dot in the negative space—creating a subtle, signature feature that’s distinctive, memorable, and scalable across all applications.

The same ethos extended to all print and digital collateral. We chose a cool, pale grey for headings—a nod to the metallic and mineral tones of the appliances themselves.

Even the user manuals received the Firgus treatment. Clean layouts, simplified diagrams, and the consistent use of grey typographic hierarchy gave the materials a premium feel—transforming what’s usually overlooked into something that feels considered and on-brand. Every element reinforces Firgus's commitment to detail, clarity, and lasting quality.
